Psychotherapy is a treatment based in response to a diagnosable mental health issue. It is often in-depth and used in conjunction with psychotropic medication, but not necessarily. If you are experiencing symptoms or problems that are significantly negatively impacting one or more aspects of your life (i.e. relationships, work, health, etc.) then it is important to get a referral or seek out a psychotherapist with the knowledge and skill to treat the problem.
Caravan Counselling Services offers both counselling and psychotherapy services to provide essential support to a person struggling to cope and take their life to the next step. Our approach usually changes as a result of the presenting problem of the client.

Our Counselling and Psychotherapy may be provided in a variety of settings including:
- Individual counselling – Talking and sharing privately, one-on-one with the counsellor. Individual counselling can be useful for those who want support but who are uncomfortable talking in groups.
- Couples counselling – Partners talk with a counsellor together.
- Group counselling – A group of individuals with similar concerns meets together with a trained counsellor who provides guidance.
- Online counselling – the delivery of health counseling via the Internet using video chatting.
